Who would have ever thought that tornadoes would hit downtown Atlanta on an early Friday night. No way! They only hit out in the country. Well, they did strike Atlanta back in 1975, but who remembers that? Sitting here watching a basketball game was just a fun day day. Then hearing on cell phones that tornadoes are in the area. So what. I’m in the big city having a beer and watching my favorite team when all of a sudden things started to sway up above. It must have been karma that they didn’t hit this arena. Instead, trashing the rest of the town. But what if? Okay, maybe it would have been a good idea to have a personal fanny pack survival kit with me. You just never know.
